Da Dun Fine Arts - The Sight of Formosa

The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Australia, in cooperation with the School of Art, ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences and School of Culture, History, Language, ANU College of Asia and the Pacific, is proud to present the Da Dun Fine Arts Exhibition at the ANU School of Art Gallery from 6 – 24 September, 2011.

The Da Dun Fine Arts Exhibition has been running in Taichung City, Taiwan, since 1996, and is a cornerstone of Taiwan’s fine arts culture. The Da Dun Fine Arts Exhibition has expanded into an international competition and exhibition, bringing over 1,000 local and international artists to participate in this annual event. The art works on presentation at this exhibition contain a selection from the eleven entry categories including crafts, sculpture, digital art, photography, printmaking, water color painting, oil painting, glue color painting, seal engraving, calligraphy, and ink-wash painting.
