People are fat. Obesity is a huge problem in our country.
People dance. People get very sweaty, drunk, friendly and fit when they dance.
People dance to Dahahoo.

Dahahoo have spent a lot of time (and money) making a CD so now, you can dance all the time!

This new fitness revolution can be purchased at our CD launch, or as we like to call it, Phat Busters Anonymous

Fri 13 April, 8pm, $10, 18+

I absolutely and utterly refuse to go to this gig on the basis that the band used a ‘ph’ to spell fat. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m all for the evolution of the english language through pop culture – because most of it is easier to spell and ignores all those stupid things you have to do when you’re writing crap down like grammar and construction of logical arguments. But ‘Phat’is a whole extra letter on of the few words I actually like. I mean, come on, fat. FAT. Three simple letters. A hell of a lot of meanings. Why change it?

I also detest the fact that this band has suggested that I try to lose weight in bars. I lose weight working, walking home from work and living on a diet that consists of noodles and small amounts of canned crap. I go to bars to Fatten up on beer and salty, Fatty foods. I refuse to do anything healthy in them.

I also refuse to see a band that calls themselves Dahahoo.

P.S. Patch, give me Mafia back. You were supposed to burn it. It’s been almost a -ing week now.

Fair enough, explanation accepted.

Because stories slide off the site in three days while ads pop up on the top of every page for the duration of their run?

Because free content is free content?

Because we’re not idiots?

With the current effort to attract paying advertisers to keep our beloved RiotAct alive; one wonders why free advertising is so easily obtained.
