What time is Wendy on? I’d go to see Wendy perform, but the rest of it doesn’t interest me.

That bird with the red thing on her arm looks like the young mum from “Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure”.

@Jennybel75,
Hi Jenny,

As it was our first ball and it was done on a shoestring the entertainers on the night all volunteered their time. The majority of people who got back to us said it was a great night for them and most are coming again. Only a small minority of the audience were friends of Diaura, most being strangers.

Everyone was given the opportunity to come to the front to parade their costume in front of the judge who is a costume designer and also volunteered her time. The best mask was also chosen by the judge herself from people who she had observed throughout the night.

The main entertainment this year has come from interstate – Melbourne and Sydney and are international performers. We assure you that this year with a new venue and more well known performers we feel that it will be a great night and well presented.

Regards,
Diaura

We went along to this event last year and it was very disappointing, the quality of the acts wasn’t great and, as non-members of Diaura, we felt like complete outsiders, we were ignored and not included in either the belle of the ball or best mask competition. I can only hope they’ve learned from last year and this year’s event is much better.
