ACT Policing is calling for witnesses to an alleged assault outside the PJ O’Reilly’s pub in Tuggeranong on Friday (November 23) to contact police.

Around 11.20pm a man was ejected from the premises by security. A verbal exchange has occurred outside the premises, resulting in an altercation in which the ejected patron has fallen to the ground and suffered an arm injury.

Police believe that a number of persons were around the premises and are likely to have witnessed the incident. Police would urge these people to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.

I’m guessing this story is from the bouncers POV? The guy just fell down and hurt his arm, completely by accident?

Sounds legit…..

You’re right to be suspicious. People who are drunk enough to get ejected from a bar rarely lose their balance, and they never fall over…

The security staff there are thugs, but the other staff seem pretty darn cool. During my lunch breaks, anyway!
