ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an attempted aggravated robbery at the Duffy supermarket this afternoon (Saturday, October 22).
Around 2.45pm today, a man entered the supermarket and threatened staff with a knife.
He made demands for money but was rebuffed and the offender then ran from the premises empty-handed.
The offender is described as around 188cm (6’2”) tall, with a medium build. He is believed to be aged in his mid to late 20s. He was wearing dark pants, and a dark jumper with a white motif. He was disguised by a beanie and a bandanna over his face.
Anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the incident and may have seen a person answering to this description, or can provide any other information which may assist the investigation, is urged to contact
