ACT Policing are investigating a single vehicle collision in Melba this afternoon where a 49-year-old man from NSW has died.
Around 1.15pm today (Thursday, September 6), police received reports of a man falling off an Australia Post motorcycle on Kingsford Smith Drive approximately 200 metres after the Le Gallienne Street intersection.
The man died at the scene. He is the seventh person to have died on ACT roads this year.
ACT Policing’s Collision, Investigation and Reconstruction Team are investigating the cause of the collision and will prepare a report for the ACT Coroner.
