ACT Policing is calling on a witness to an incident that occurred last Sunday (November 11) in Horrocks Street, Torrens.

ACT Policing Operations were contacted by the witness around 11:00am who reported the suspicious behavior of a male in a red Ford vehicle located on Parkin Street, Torrens. The witness reported to police that they feared the driver was inebriated.

The witness approached the car to check the welfare of the driver, who awoke and drove onto Horrocks Street.

The witness’ phone lost service before any further details could be provided to police.

Police subsequently spoke to the driver later that morning. The driver is suspected of committing a number of traffic offences.

ACT Policing believe this witness can assist with further enquiries in relation to the alleged traffic offences.

Police are urging this person, or anyone else who may have any information that could assist, to come forward and contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
