DIY Wotz on Guide for the weekend of 18-Jan-08

While I’m still trying to get over the “back at work” blues I’m really looking forward to this weekend just for the fact that it is a weekend. However I have no idea what I’m going to do. Any ideas, let us know in the comments.

If anyone is interested, Jester will be playing in Goulburn tonight, 8:30ish start

Well, we’re heading out to a metal gig at the ANU Bar tomorrow on Friday the 18th. Google tells me they’re calling it Devil’s Kitchen and the following crowd of bands are going to be there: Pod People, Looking Glass, Young Breeder, Nunchukka Superfly, Fattura Della Morte, LOG, Clagg, Moh Van Wah, Cloves.

Doors open 7 pm, $15 entry and (not surprisingly) the ANU is too stingy to even give its own students a discount!

I was also told there are two other metal gigs on Friday, one at the Basement(?) and one somewhere else, but I don’t remember the details.

The Botanic Gardens Summer Sounds events are on this Saturday and Sunday evenings, 6:00pm to 7:30pm, free.
