The Brass Knuckle Brass Band will play at the Alliance Fran?aise this Friday night.

The band is a a Canberra group in the style of the New Orleans funk street bands and has performed to great acclaim and significant booty-shaking at the 2011 Summer Rhythm Festival and the 2011 National Folk Festival. Members of the group are heavily involved in the Canberra music scene, performing regularly in a variety of jazz, rock and Latin groups as well as classical ensembles including the Canberra Symphony Orchestra.
