For those interested in self defence or looking to gain some practical self defence skills, Krav Maga Canberra run regular introduction sessions that you can attend to learn the basics and determine if Krav Maga is right for you.

The next introduction session will be held on Saturday the 7th of August.

The Craft Show, all weekend at Exhibition Park

Women’s and Girl’s Jogalong
Date: Sunday 8 August 2010
Time: 9.00am.
Location: Weston Park
Distance: 6km

What is it? The Jogalong is a 6km walk jog or run on the bike path from Weston Park to, and along part of Dunrossil Drive and return. It is a handicapped event, with walkers starting off first and faster runners leaving progressively from higher groups.

The 3km Mixed event

This is for all female ages and boys to 14 years. The course initially follows the Jogalong course, but turns at the 1.5km just before the footbridge, and returns to the Jogalong start line. This event commences with Group 18 of The Jogalong.

The Minijog for girls and boys to 14 years, is a handicapped event over 1.6km.
