ACT Policing believe the man pictured below may have information regarding an aggravated robbery at the Woolworths Caltex Service Station in Kambah early this month (Wednesday, April 4).

The offender had a black mask covering his face. He was wearing a grey hooded jumper with a white motif on the front, beige coloured pants and black shoes.

Detective Senior Constable Simon Roscoe said police would like to speak to the man pictured as a matter of priority.

“We believe the man was present during the aggravated robbery, unfortunately he left the scene prior to police arrival and is yet to contact police,” Detective Senior Constable Roscoe said. “He may have vital information regarding the incident and it is important the he contacts police immediately.”

Police are urging anyone who may have been near the store at the time of the incident or may know this witness, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.

From the witness:
” He was wearing a grey hooded jumper with a white motif on the front, beige coloured pants and black shoes.”

The guy in the CCTV still: black Tshirt, blue shorts, white shoes.

Not sure why you want the guy in the photo “nabbed”. Sounds more like he could be a good witness.

Agreed. The statement says he was “present” – not necessarily “involved”. He may have been sh*t scared by what he saw and taken off home.

Why use logic when a mob mentality will do? As some have has the good sense to point out, we don’t know he’s guilty of anything. He could be a possible witness, but why use thought at all?
