Drugs and gun in Chisholm

ACT Policing has arrested a 41-year-old Gowrie man and a 37-year-old Chisolm woman, after executing a search warrant yesterday afternoon (Friday, September 6).

Around 3pm yesterday afternoon, members of Tuggeranong Police Station, Specialist Response Group and National Canine executed a search warrant and seized over 700 property items suspected to be stolen, .22 calibre rounds, a quantity of drugs and a small sum of cash.

The man and the woman were arrested at the conclusion of the search warrant and taken to the ACT Watch House.

The man is charged with possess drug of dependence and the woman was charged with possess prohibited substance and unlawful possession of stolen property.

They will both face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning where police will oppose bail.

Ummm…is the headline correct? The release says “.22 calibre rounds”, which I read as ammo, but no Roscoe.
