The Independent Competition and Regulatory Commission has released its ACT Electricity Feed-in Scheme Activity Summary: 1 March 2009 to 31 March 2011 .

March 2011 connection were up to 868 from 485 in the December quarter!

That’s despite the tradie drought of January and February.

And it’s going to get even bigger, with 1,552 applications received in the quarter up from 895.

Consider that the scheme only had 3599 applications from March 2009 to December 2010 and that’s a big rush on.

So when do ACT power bills start going up to pay for the overpriced feed in tariffs that will have to go those wealthy enough to install solar panels? Too bad if you are a pensioner or low income, have fun freezing during winter when the bills start going up…..sigh useless ACT government. Has the ACT government been watching what has happened in NSW with the failed solar scheme?

Makes me want to deduct 10% from my own electricity bill and get the dimwitted half brained morons who came up with the scheme to pay it as punishment for their stupidity.

Yep, all signing up to get dodgy installations “Before The Subsidies End”.

Yay for ineffectual, expensive feel good wanks.
