Fire at University of Canberra

Firefighters have extinguished a fire discovered burning on the ground floor of Building Three at University of Canberra in Bruce this afternoon.

The fire was quickly contained to the room it started in and extinguished at around 2:45pm.

ACT Fire & Rescue crews are now ventilating smoke from the Science Building and will continue to investigate the cause of the blaze.

The damage bill is unknown.
