ACT Fire & Rescue is on the scene of a fire at the top of a high rise apartment building at Acton.
Multiple units including three fire pumpers and the bronto aerial appliance were responded to the The Apartments building on Marcus Clarke Street after the alarm was raised just after 5 o’clock.
Firefighters located a small fire in a heater unit on the 17th level and quickly extinguished it.
Occupants were not evacuated.
Fire crews are now ventilating the area before handing the building back to management.
