ACT Fire Brigade currently on scene at two separate house fires at McGinness St, Scullin and Epenarra Close, Hawker.
Both fires have been extinguished and started in the kitchen, with damage contained to kitchen area only.
Time of Emergency Triple Zero (000) calls 6.08pm for the Hawker fire and 6.10pm for the kitchen fire at Scullin.

ACT Ambulance Service Intensive Care Paramedics attended the fire at Scullin and treated three patients for smoke inhalation before transporting to Calvary Hospital in a stable condition. A male, female and three month old baby.
Food stuffs cooking on the stove that boiled over started both fires.
Significant damage to both kitchens with some smoke logging in the two dwellings.
Neighbouring units at Scullin have been evacuated as a precaution as ACT Fire Brigade carry out air monitoring.
The fire at Hawker was a town house with no other houses affected.
ACT Fire Brigade would like to remind the community don’t stop looking while you’re cooking.
