I heard an allegation that these lights were to be somehow temporary … surely this can’t be the case?
No they had to do some serious concrete foundations for the lights. There was a preference for retractable lighting, but for the cost and the timeframe its not possible. Of course i’m sure the Manuka Residents association or similar will complain.
