I’m intrigued by the stand selling chips on a stick… is it just one big chip? When does a chip stop being a chip and become a hash brown?
i wasn’t at foreshore but if it’s like the other foodvans i’ve bought them from, it is one potato cut spirally and skewered on a stick and then deep fried – so i would say a chip. arguably a potato cake if dipped in batter to hold some sort of spicy flavouring? definitely not a hash brown which is shredded/grated potato which is made into a patty then deep or pan fried. love the potato – so versatile
I met the dude with the braided beard and hair in Civic later that night. He was loving the Canberra nightlife as there were far less F%*ktards here than in Sydney.
Some killer shots in that collection.

What a super idea.
Martin, well done mate. Never seen photos as good as what you have taken. You are the master of the DSLR.
