ACTION are doing the free bus thing for the dawn service, which is nice.

Services will depart from all major bus stations – Gungahlin, Tuggeranong, Woden, City ?and Belconnen –to the War Memorial from 4 am. ?Return services will depart 20 minutes after the Dawn Service concludes.

Parking at the War Memorial will be limited so if you are planning on driving, consider combining car and bus travel. Event organisers are encouraging patrons to park at the Russell Hill car park (Sir Thomas Blamey Square) and take the free ACTION shuttle to the Service. The shuttle bus will depart from 4 am until 5.10 am.

For visitors attending the National Ceremony, a shuttle service will depart from the Russell Hill car park between 8.30 am and 9.45 am. All chartered services will be wheelchair accessible.

The rest of the day is on a regular public holiday timetable so keep that in mind in your travels.
