The ACT Rural Fire Service (ACTRFS) JerrabomberraBrigade willconduct a small hazard reduction burn tomorrow from 6.00pm till 9.00pm, Thursday 12 May, 2011 weather permitting,on the site of Canturf adjacent to the Monaro Hwy, Fyshwick.
The purpose of the burn is to reduce a fire hazard and provide a training opportunity for RFS volunteers.
One tanker, two light units and 10 personnel will conduct the burnoftwosmall piles measuring approx 10 metres x 5 metres.
