ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an assault in Phillip yesterday morning (January 15).
Around 11.35am, a woman parked her vehicle in a car park on Furzer Street, when she was approached by another woman, who opened the passenger’s side door and starting punching her.
The female offender stole a necklace from the woman, before a man intervened, and assisted the female victim.
The female offender was last seen driving away in a silver Holden Astra.
The woman reported the incident to Woden Police Station this afternoon at 4pm. Police would like to speak to the ‘good Samaritan’, who may be able to assist with the investigation into the assault. He is asked to contact Woden Police Station on 6256 7777.
Anyone who witnessed the assault in Phillip yesterday morning is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.

took her 5 hours to report it?
I only approve if both chicks are hot.

That is quite a while but then she may have decided to get herself checked out first with the doctor depending on how badly she was hit.
Bit disappointed the ‘good samaritan’ didn’t report the incident. In these cases every bit of information helps. I saw a hit run on a vehicle at the local shops last year, gave the vehicle details to the driver (she was returning to her vehicle when it was hit) but also let the Police know too about what I saw and gave them the rego.

Damn you!!!!!
Bet me to it.
I wonder if they were married? :->
Can we have a moratorium on posts that include “only if both chicks are hot” for, say, a year? That might bring about some more creative sexist posts, and ones that are actually funny!
Masquara said :
I will march for the negative re moratorium.
WTF could this have been about? Assault, followed by opportunistic theft, followed by getting in a nice car and just driving off?
Holden Caulfield said :
How lovely… and remarkably sexist.
I understand it was probably meant in jest, but seriously, would you say something similar if it was two guys punching on?
Masquara said :
No. It’s a funny in-joke, that only offends bogans with tats.
LSWCHP said :
Holden Astra and nice car don’t go together its a poor bogans commodore
Holden Caulfield said :
and that is why society is going to hell

You’re also part of the problem

OR partially clothed.
People never seem to get number plates in situations like these.

Damn right. No-one wants to see ugly chicks punching on.
No mention whether they knew each other or whether she was wearing the necklace. So many unanswered questions, where’s Hercule Poirot when you need him?
Nothing fires up the femonazi movement like a sexist comment made after two females are fighting.
Now if they were not fighting in the first place then there would be no sexist comment.
So i’d like to thank the 2 fighting chicks for giving the RiotACT readers the opportunity to make the sexist comment.
Note – This also gives the femonazi’s all the power to make whatever comments they like re boys biffo, I won’t be offended

No. It’s not a funny internet in-joke (quel self-deluded hubris!). It’s a phrase posted by dirty old uncle types or dirty-old-uncle-types-to-be. And it doesn’t offend – it bores rigid (or, more like, a little flaccid).
Masquara said :
Actually it’s a funny riot act in-joke, but thanks for stopping by and flailing your arms anyway
screaming banshee said :
Aforementioned hubris and delusion on your part. The expression predates Riotact by several years. And one doesn’t flail one’s arms when there’s a glass of 1999 Valtellina Sforzata in one hand.
