This year, Belconnen Fresh Food Markets will contribute to The Salvation Army Christmas appeal by hosting a Christmas tree in the centre of the marketplace from Saturday 1 December until Sunday 23 December 2012.
We urge local Canberran’s to dig deep and donate in December to families who struggle to make ends meet at one of the hardest times of the year. Donations will go towards providing a gift (or gifts) to the value of $30 for disadvantaged children in the nation’s capital.
This year it is important to remember that if you are donating a gift, place it into the specified Christmas boxes under the tree unwrapped so as the team from The Salvation Army can correctly identify a worthy recipient.
