Greens to back Gallagher

The ABC has the unsurprising news that the Greens have met and decided they will back Katy Gallagher as Chief Minister if the Labor Caucus puts her up as expected tomorrow.

The Greens say the party will not demand drastic changes to the parliamentary agreement with Labor.

But a spokesman says the agreement will need to be updated to reflect the leadership change, as well as acknowledging work already completed by the parties and minor differences to future areas of change.

Did anyone really think the sisterhood would do down Katy?

In other news the Canberra Times reports Katy’s going to cut the cabinet down to the surviving four: Gallagher, Barr, Corbell and Burch.

The speculation is that Corbell will take planning and TAMS while Barr will pull Treasury.
