Just noticed that at a certain distance in Google Quest, places like Gunnamulla, Mildura, Nyungan, Sale, and Bega rate a ye olde icon, while Canberra is still a cluster of trees.
Mind you, Hay and Cobar rate a mention and Sydney doesn’t if you zoom out a bit more.

I noticed this yesterday as well, and was suitably outraged.
Good to see that the link still works, even though they shut off the Quest option a few minutes ago.
Just be thankful we didn’t get teleported in to the ocean like the people of Bundaberg and Port Macquarie.
