Hackett house fire handed over to police

ACT Fire & Rescue are currently on scene at Antill Street, Hackett working to extinguish a house fire.

Crews are getting to work to extinguish the fire.

Update to follow.

10:29 PM

ACT Fire & Rescue are continuing to extinguish the fire.

Five fire pumpers, the Hazardous Materials Unit, the Breathing Apparatus Van and two Command Officers on scene.

No damage to neighbouring property at this time.

ACT Ambulance Service intensive care paramedics are also on scene and have assessed one female with no injuries.

Multiple Emergency Triple Zero (000) calls received from 10.08pm.

ACT Fire & Rescue are continuing with firefighting operations.

Crews are trying to gain access to the building to conduct a search.

11:14 PM

ACT Fire & Rescue has extinguished the fire.

The scene has been handed to ACT Policing to investigate.
