An award winning comic who thinks quickly and moves slowly, Hannah Gadsby is coming to the Canberra Comedy Festival 2014 for one night only!
She is sardonic, laconic and, after numerous bone crunching accidents, bionic. Her droll delivery, delightful wordplay and heart-breakingly funny, self-deprecating observations have delighted audiences all over the world. You might be familiar with Hannah from her co-hosting role on Adam Hills: In Gordon Street Tonight, her Warehouse Comedy Special on ABC, or her frequent appearances on Agony Aunts, Artscape, Spicks and Specks, Good News Week and many more.
In 2006 Hannah won the prestigious new act competition RAW Comedy, and since then has sold out festivals in Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Edinburgh. She has been nominated for the Barry (Best Show)at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival twice, in 2011 and 2013.
Associate Director of the Canberra Comedy Festival, Benjamin Stevenson, says, “Hannah is always popular with Canberra crowds and we are delighted to have her new show as part of our festival. I’ve seen audiences leave Hannah’s shows with tears in their eyes. She really is that good.”
Hannah will be coming to Canberra as part of the Canberra Comedy Festival to perform her new show The Exhibitionist on March 6 at 7:00pm at the ANU Art Centre, Theatre. Tickets are very limited, so do not miss out on seeing one of the country’s absolute best comedians!
