The unending string of good news from Andrew Barr rolls on as he announces the completion of a rolled gold complex for the round ball enthusiasts in Hawker.

The upgrade of the Hawker facility has been funded under this program to deliver a synthetic surface which meets FIFA’s highest two-star rating. The surface at Hawker is now at the same standard used by professional leagues in Europe.

This facility will give the Canberra community, especially the people of Belconnen access to a year-round, multi-purpose sports facility, helping to maintain our position as the most active and healthy community in Australia.

Who knows what wonders monday will deliver in the non-stop media campaign?

It is so annoying to have to travel to Hawker and Lyneham all the bloody time. I hope they are considering a similar one in the south, given that Woden is the geographic centre of Canberra.
