Holt service station robbed

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery that occurred at the Caltex Service Station in Holt yesterday (Thursday 18 June).

About 9.45pm, a man armed with a knife approached and threatened a store attendant outside the service station demanding that he enter the store and give him money.

The store attendant complied with the offender’s demands handing over a sum of cash and cigarettes. The offender then fled the store on foot in a southerly direction.

The male offender is described as Caucasian in appearance, 183cm (6’) tall, skinny build with blonde facial hair under his chin. He was wearing a black hooded jumper, light blue jeans, black balaclava, black fingerless gloves and white/black shoes.

ACT Policing is investigating and seeking CCTV footage.

Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have any information that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously. We remind people they should not report crime information via Facebook and Twitter.
