Many thanks to Dave who has pointed out that Google Maps StreetView includes the interior of Lyneham’s Book Lore second hand bookstore.

The strange properties of L-Space as exhibited by second hand bookstores was well noted by Terry Pratchett but it’s nice to see demonstrated.

Give it a go, walk right in…

Gosh! There seem to be some particularly fine volumes in the Australian Poetry section down the back, on the left, under ‘C’.

Not really that difficult. Just mount the 360 degree camera on a tripod.

You can see the photographer with their tripod just before you go through the door.

Riotact members have got some serious skills picking things like this in Google Maps shots. First the creepy kids in O’Connor now this. The AFP should employee you guys to track down Meth labs!

It’s like a new version of a spot the ball competition.

Have you considered getting the Eagles Nest immortalised on street views?

Same goes for the Book Grocer on Kennedy St in Kingston.
