Monochromatic rainbow lorikeet

After the glories of Bird Wednesday we come crashing down to earth with this entry by Pork Hunt who’d forgotten the new camera was set to monochromatic while snapping this rainbow lorikeet.

In the slideshow (below) we also have more new photos by Pommy Bastard with galahs finally getting a go.

Still time to get snapping and get your pictures in to images@the-riotact.com .

Love the very angry looking magpie, it obviously doesn’t approve of having its photo taken.

PeeWee, not really what we call a magpie. But still the best photo of the lot so far.

PB, thanks for pix of wrens (I think)- lovely! Also, there seems to be a lot of smooching going on in some of these – raunchy bird photos – another first for RiotACT. Always at the cutting edge.

Thanks for the kind comments. That PeeWee, for such it was, was right “in my face”.

Cocky little sod.

Peewee… looked magpieish at first quick glance. The little buggers have anger management issues.
