It’s a cheap perspective shot but hey, we all know I’m a cheap hack.

Under Commonwealth Avenue Bridge

But wait, what are those dots in the middle there?

London Bridge Stones Under Commonwealth Avenue

Kerces swears blind that they are stones from London Bridge.

The Civic side has stones of it’s own. The plaque informs that these stones are from the Waterloo Bridge, also over the Thames in London.

I know there is an underpass, but I never noticed the stairs next to the rocks before, and depending on how tall JB is the camera may have been adjacent to the bridge…

If it’s any kind of zoom lens, Kerces, you still refer to the “long end ” of the lens.
-I’m more interested in why Angelique finds that pic so funny!

Sam there’s an underpass with a road, a footpath AND stairs. Anyone can go look for themselves, the bike path goes right through under the bridge on both ends of it.

I would say that it only just qualifies as being *under* the bridge…the amount of climbing up rocks that JB must have done gets him very close to being adjacent to the bridge.

Of course I could just be silly and call it a brudge.

but it’s not a long lens terubo, it’s a digital zoom (i think). it’s not THAT fancy a camera.

I know it’s immature, but that first photos makes me laugh!

heh.

I prefer the more appropriate “long lens”.

hur hur hur

big zoom

hur hur

if i was showing off i would have cropped to the plaque

Course JB only took the second shot to show off his big zoom on his fancy new camera.

In the right lighting with the right weather, that first photo makes for an absolute pearler. I have seen it numerous times before and have gone ‘Wow!!’
