Inner South Canberra Community Council (ISCCC) will hold a Transport Forum on Tuesday 17 April at Eastlake Football Club, Kingston at 7pm.

We have invited the ACT Government Transport planners to let us know what’s in the draft strategy and where it’s up to following the recent consultation. This strategy has broad implications for everyone – future of public transport, routes, accessibility, paid parking, etc. There will also be time to ask questions and make comments, so come with your questions and have a say.

We have also invited AECOM, a consulting firm, which is working on plans for Park and Ride and Bike and Ride. These are also issues for the Inner South, with respect to the adequacy of footpaths, cycle paths, etc.

The ISCCC Committee also wants to hear your thoughts so we can plan our priorities on addressing transport needs. A transport survey has been compiled.

We would love to see you there and will welcome any other comments about what’s good and not so good about getting about in Canberra.
