Despite johnboy’s plea, and despite rigging it so the Wallabies gave him a dream debut right here in Canberra, word has come through that James O’Connor is expected to stay with the Western Force.
The deal hasn’t been signed off, but The Australian (via FoxSports) reckon he’ll be staying in Perth until the end of the 2011 season, at least. Ironically, in a Giteau like scenario, O’Connor has rejected the Brumbies offer because they were unable to match a lucrative third party deals.
So, I guess we’ll see O’Connor here for the 2012 season then.
