It's that time of the year again!

The bands were pretty loud on Friday, but it was so hot the odds of falling asleep by midnight were pretty slim anyways… Really it was no more loud or offensive as say, trackside… And at least there was no hip-hop!

I kind of enjoyed listening to Noiseworks and the Jets for free.

I love a good Summernats bash as much as the next person but I thought it was pretty tame this year… Maybe that’s because they had some decent entertainment other than cars and skanks to distract them… Who knows?

Their concerts and strip shows were unbelievably loud this year. It sucked on the hottest weekend in ages to have to leave all the windows shut all night. and I live a suburb or two away. It must have been deafening in the houses over the road.

Living down South, we didn’t notice anything different apart from the odd ‘hot’ car driving down Hindmarsh or Yamba Drive.

Wouldn’t have even known it was on if it wasn’t for the media hype.
