Jewellery theft at Mimco store

ACT Policing is investigating the theft of merchandise from a Mimco store in the Canberra Centre yesterday (Thursday 12 February).

Around 2.10pm staff noticed multiple items missing from the display cabinet including an array of coloured stud earrings and rings.

Staff conducted an immediate stocktake and identified the stolen items to be worth in excess of $1000.

ACT Policing is seeking to identify offenders involved in the theft and are asking anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious around the Mimco store at that time to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
