Steve Doszpot and friends have organized a Quiz night in support of Joshua Gordon. Joshua is just 20 years old, he is autistic, intellectually impaired and suffers epilepsy.
Despite his disabilities, Joshua began figure skating and in just 3 short years has achieved some remarkable results.. Joshua’s ultimate dream is to make a successful career within the sport, and hopefully compete in the international arena. His determination and commitment to achieve what many would have thought was unattainable has been met with the greatest admiration from his coaches, judges and officials within the sport. Most of all Joshua wants to show the world that people with a disability are just as capable of achieving their dreams as anyone else!
Joshua does need some assistance to fulfill his dream. He requires intensive training, locally, interstate and internationally and funds raised from the quiz night will go towards this training.
MC’s for the night are Lachlan Kennedy & Erin Molan (WIN Television) while the Quiz Master is Steve Doszpot.
The quiz night will take place on Friday, 18 June 2010 (from 7pm) at the Southern Cross Club in Woden. Entry is only $25 per person (tables 8-10 people).
