Kelvin Mark Skeers has been a fraudulent mortgage broker and a court shopper in his ongoing efforts to game every system he encounters.
The ABC reports that, of the 250 hours of community service he was required to complete in a year as part of his sentencing, he has managed a mere 50.
The ACT Supreme Court heard he had made a profoundly poor decision by prioritising his employment ahead of the order.
Justice Malcolm Gray resentenced him to 15 months in jail, to be suspended after he serves five months periodic detention.
He warned Skeers that he would find himself in even more strife if he failed to comply.
In my opinion it’s a shame he doesn’t have to have another whack at his community service hours after finishing his periodic detention.
