KFC Fyshwick held up, men flee to Narrabundah on foot

Two men held up the Fyshwick KFC on Tuesday night, jumping the counter and stealing a sum of cash after threatening staff, then crossing Canberra Avenue on foot, towards Narrabundah.

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to the aggravated robbery that took place at about 9pm on Tuesday.

The first man is about 6’ 1” tall and was wearing a balaclava and dark clothing.

The second man was wearing a balaclava, a blue and white checkered shirt and black pants.

The takeaway outlet is adjacent to the Fyshwick 7Eleven, which was the subject of a similar but botched aggravated robbery in recent months.

Police are urging anyone who may have any information that could assist in their investigation into the incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Please quote reference 6073950. Information can be provided anonymously.
