Kicked in the throat in Narrabundah

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery in Narrabundah yesterday afternoon (Monday, 28 February).

Around 4pm a 16 year old male youth was walking along Strzelecki Street, from Narrabundah College when he was called over by two males who then attacked him and demanded money. One of the offenders punched the victim in the face several times and kicked him in the throat before stealing his cash and sunglasses; they then fled the scene in an unknown direction.

The first male offender was described as of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, approximately 170cm (5’5”) tall, with an average build, black hair with a gold streak down the right side. He was wearing a dark top and tracksuit pants. The second male offender was described as of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, but could not be described.

Police ask anyone who was in the area at that time and may have seen people matching the description to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
