Hmmm, hard to say what i think of this as Stanhope really “opened” my eyes to art (I still cannot believe what a redneck i was). This is miles better than “abstract Tussuck grass next to road” or “Meatballs on umpires chairs” and even “Yellow plastic pipe sticking out of footpath”.
And who can forget his touching memorial to the endangered “Phallus Owl” and the “Big orange jungle gym that is too high to play on and with, at the right angle, looks to be a swastika hidden in it”?
I wonder many vital ACT services missed out to pay for this one?
I assume the wiggly line represents taxpayers’ money going up in smoke.

It’s a sculptural representation of The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars
