Sportal has a story on the Brumbies’ pivot Christian Lealiifano heading over the ditch to play a season for Waikato in the ITM Cup.
Waikato coach Chris Gibbes said: “It is a unique opportunity to have a proven, quality Super 14 player from outside our region wanting to play for Waikato. He is keen to carry on his good Super rugby form into our national provincial rugby competition.
It’s great to see the 22 year old getting more game time and exposure to different ideas and styles. If only the rest of the young Brumbies were getting out in the world more through the off season.
