Jeremy Lasek has issued a media release (and made a comment on this website) to let people know that the Like Canberra website is both wildly popular and also improved.
In response to feedback, the Like Canberra website has an enhanced design that makes it easier to navigate and vote. There is also a new feature that makes it possible to ‘unvote’ if people make mistakes.
In addition to voting by category, people can also vote on a list of all likes in alphabetical order by selecting ‘list view’.
“We have also extended the voting period from 14 February to 28 February to ensure everyone who wants to vote gets the chance,” Mr Lasek said.
I’m impressed, to almost completely change the design within a week in response to community feedback is an achievement. I thought old tile design was interesting, but it seemed to sacrifice a significant amount of function for the resulting form so its certainly nice to see the appearance of a search function that was sorely lacking in the old design. Being able to unlike is a welcome addition too.
Vastly improved!
The power of RA!
As soon as I saw 104.7, I was out of there.
Now we just need to find a way to fix the content. That may be more challenging…

Sadly, we only have ourselves to blame for that though :’(
Just bumping this to remind people that there are still a couple of weeks to vote for Charnwood.
