Canberra Philharmonic are doing Little Shop of Horrors!

Feed me Seymore!

The show will be running from the 17th of October to the 2nd November at Erindale Theatre in Wanniassa.

One of the longest-running Off-Broadway shows of all time, this affectionate spoof of 1950s sci-fi movies has become a household name, thanks to a highly successful film version and a score by the song-writing team of Howard Ashman and Alan Menken. Charming, tuneful and hilarious, with tongue firmly planted in cheek, “Little Shop of Horrors” never fails to entertain.

Will Nerdy Seymour, the Skid Row floral assistant, spend his life taking care of the strange exotic plant he names after Audrey, the girl he secretly loves? Will Audrey settle for her abusive sadistic boyfriend? Will Mushnik, the down and out flower shop owner, turn the shop traffic generated by Audrey II into a successful business? And why does Seymour grow more anaemic and weaker by the day, while Audrey II the plant grows bigger, and bigger… and stranger?

Canberra Philharmonic’s production features some of Canberra’s most talented and best-loved performers including Adrian Flor, Will Huang, Kelly Roberts and Ian Croker.
