So, some more details:
There’s no firm release date. Sometime in the first half of this year is probably the best I could say.
The film is the first time I’ve tried my hand at something this long (it clocks in at 84 minutes), and the post-production is pretty much a one-man band thing that’s taking a bit longer than I expected.
I’ve finaced the thing entirely out of my own pocket, so it probably qualifies as a “microbudget” film.
As a first effort, I’ll admit it’s nor flawless. But I have a solid cast, and I believe that the story holds together well. The cast will be familiar to regular Canberra theatre goers. As well as the people listed above, it also features the likes of Andrea Close, Georgia Pike, David Cannell and Lara Carloff.
When a screening date rolls around, I’ll definitely be letting the RiotAct community know.

High Calibre stuff apart from the Kettle Drums but that’s just me being picky….
Love the visuals. The dialogue is a little hammy though.
