Man, 43, dies in single vehicle crash near Cooma

A 43-year-old man died after the silver Ford Falcon he was driving on the Snowy Mountains Highway rolled and landed on its roof around 3km west of Cooma last night.

Paramedics took the man to Cooma Hospital after being called to the scene at around 8.30pm, but he died. His 36-year-old female passenger, who had suffered non-life-threatening injuries, was also taken to Cooma Hospital.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal car crash

Investigations continue into the cause of the crash and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
