I don’t travel to Yass but if I did this is the kind of sign that I would stop to take a photo of and send it into Hey Hey its Saturday or did that finish recently?
Mael – Don’t forget cash money or PIN Number. All funny.
That is so old it’s not funny. Pics of that sign have been on the net for years.
As Noel Gallagher once said “So what if someone’s thrown a TV out of a hotel room before, so what if ‘it’s been done before’. I haven’t done it before”.
The sign is maybe 10 or 15 km on the Yass side of Gunning (on the Hume therefore most Canberrans wouldn’t drive past). It is also easy to miss as the roadside vegetation conceals it from most angles.
The older sign made its appearance on Hey Hey sometime ago (15 yrs?)
Supercalafreakinawesome. If they ever decide to change the name of a nightclub in town named after a geometric shape they could just steal this sign. Much more appropriate.
Surely they’ve taken it down by now. Actually it gets worse, take a look at the golden arches again, you don’t need much imagination to see it as looking down on someone bending over butt naked with their arse crack showing! I’ll never see macca’s the same way again!
ROFLMAO!
lol. Early bird gets the “worm”?
I’m not sure what you interpret from McDonalds™ Yass, but I’m sure it serves your inner demons.
I’m sure Automatic Teller Machine Machines also make you laugh, as do Electronic Point of Sale Transaction Transactions.
Hahahahahahahaha … obviously such a regular occurrence as to announce it to all who drives by, lol.

It took me 5 sec… but HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
I will never pass this sign with a straight face again … hilarious!
: D
I never actually thought about this. F–kin hell! That’s a cack and a half right there.
Bundah Bloke pwns the Golden Arches.

The sign has been there so long that my mum remembers it from when I was a kid. From memory it was taken down for a while then put back up.

Maybe so, but this is the first time someone has drawn my attention to it.
Somebody should paint in a comer.

Yep, a well known internetz gag this one.
What’s with the “Sports & Outdoor” sign below the main sign, I this somehow also cryptically part of the joke?

Sports & Outdoor Media Pty Ltd — the advertising company responsible for the sign.
Where is this sign? I do the CBR Melb trip often, and don’t recall seeing it! (Who said advertising doesn’t work!
I’ve never seen it, what a classic !
Some people would love to be regular like that.

The sign probably isn’t there anymore, it’s such old news.

I think American Asses are just as funny as Australian Arses. I guess you wouldn’t call me anal about such things.
‘Boom boom!’ as Basil would say … *chuckle*
McDonald’s is an American company after all.
the sign is still there, I drive past it multiple times a month.
