Next Friday the rock powerhouse “Missing Lincolns” are finally launching their album at The Front.

Facebook provides these details:

Friends, family, fellow Canberrans – the wait is over.

A brief seven years after forming, The Missing Lincolns are finally ready to present their masterpiece – RIGHTEOUS NOISE. Enlisting the help of some of their favourite musicians (including members of The Andi & George Band, Mr. Fibby, Cool Weapon, Julia & The Deep Sea Sirens, The Cherry Marines), RIGHTEOUS NOISE is a 14 song adventure through funk, rock, country and beyond.

Also included in this landmark package is the much heralded, little heard “lost” Lincolns album, DELIVER US. Recorded over a week in Melbourne several moons ago, and never released until now, it is a savage and raw examination of three young men on the make, risking it all for a handful of chords and a beat.

We will be launching the album at one of our last gigs in Canberra for a while – come help us celebrate. If you happen to hate us, but love Hancock Basement, come along anyway, ‘cause they’ll be playing too.

Entry is FREE – but you can buy the album and our undying love for a paltry $20.

PLAY PLAY PLAY LIKE MORRIS DAY!

UPDATED Luke from the band has sent in the official poster with this note:
