Your only chance to see two classic Monty Python films on the big screen in the ACT is on tomorrow, 8pm at the ANU Film Group. Monty Python and The Holy Grail and Monty Python’s The Life of Brian are on Friday 4 May for one night only. I’m told that they are brand new, remastered 35mm prints of the films that haven’t been available to be screened for ages. The only cinemas in Australia screening these films are the ANU Film Group here and the Astor Theatre in Melbourne, so don’t miss out on this chance.

Here is the info and you can find general info there about the theatre and their set up etc.

You can buy a weekly ticket for $15 and get to see any or all of the following:

Fri 4 May – Monty Python double feature
Sat 5 May – 2:37 [ED – The name of a movie we learn]
The Year my Voice Broke
Wed 9 May – Scoop
Thur 10 May – Little Children
