New Phillip Ave/Majura Ave traffic lights broken or only part time?

I went through the new traffic lights up near Dickson College yesterday about lunchtime and noticed they were flashing orange in all directions.

There were no police or even roadworkers nearby to indicate there was a problem, maybe they are only turned on during weekdays?

Part-time signals are switched off when not in use – evidenced by the set on Athllon Dr just before the Isabella/Drakeford roundabout.

Flashing orange generally means they’ve had a problem.

Did you notify either Canberra Connect or ACT Policing about the issue?

Where have you ever seen permanent traffic lights that are switched off on weekends?

Probably broken. The only part time signal I know of in Canberra completely turns off when it is not needed, and there is a sign on the pole to let you know it is a part time signal.
