New Years Eve 2015 may well spoil you for future New Years Eves! Albert Hall is a stunning high-end ballroom with original features. The doors will open at 8pm to give you plenty of time to find your seats and enjoy your free glass of bubbly on arrival.

A mood of excitement and anticipation will be set by Canberra Pianist Robbie Mann playing stride tunes on the Albert Hall Grand Piano as guests arrive.

At 9pm, the fireworks over Lake Burley Griffin will provide a grand fanfare to welcome the Canberra Pops Orchestra, who will dazzle you with a combination of audience favourites – classic pops music, movie themes and Viennese waltzes. Either sit back and enjoy the show, or don your dancing shoes and have a spin around the dance floor!

Not a big dancer? You’ll still enjoy a fantastic show. There will be some high jinks for you to get up to, with instructional dance cards to get you in the spirit. Bar service is available throughout the evening and if you splurge on a VIP ticket you’ll have a food and drinks package throughout the night.

At midnight, charge your glass and head out to the terrace to enjoy the fireworks over Lake Burley-Griffin. Grab your sweetheart (or one you haven’t met yet!) and ring in 2016 in style as the orchestra plays Auld Lang Syne.

Dress is masquerade black tie. Prizes will be awarded for the best mask and the best dressed couple. Parking is available adjacent to the hall and also across the road at Treasury (use the underpass). Please drink responsibly, especially if you are driving.
